Dashboards
We work with dashboards to provide a clear overview of the various basic components (quotes, projects, etc.).
The following 'functionalities' are provided on a general or overarching dashboard:
Overview
Each dashboard provides an overview of all quotations / projects / service items / service contracts / approval flows, according to the selected filter. You can click directly from the overview via action buttons to the relevant site and the libraries with the working documents or the photo library.
Filters
Thanks to filters you can quickly switch between the overviews of the different components. For example, you can get an overview of all existing quotations via the 'Quotes' filter or an overview of all existing projects via the 'Projects' filter. Which filters we use when creating the dashboard can be completely determined by the customer.
Search function
The search function makes it possible to quickly find quotations / projects / service items / service contracts based on, for example, the file number, customer name or site address. The SharePoint search engine searches across all libraries on the site, but only shows the documents that have been assigned the metadata (tag) of the checked filter on the dashboard.
Action buttons
Via action buttons you can click from the overarching dashboard to the 'drag & drop' application in which the specific documents (quotes / project documents / service items / service contracts) can be found. The action button to the photo library can also be found on the general dashboard.
Favorites
If you want to closely monitor certain quotations, projects or service contracts, you can check the asterisk behind this component. The checked quotes, projects or service contracts will then always appear at the top of the list on your dashboard.
