The Event Details webpart is your one-stop shop for everything related to your event. This webpart displays all the essential information about an event and allows you to customize the event page to your heart's content.

With the banner at the top, you can easily access basic data about the event such as location, date, organizer, and even a banner image to make the event pop.

But that's not all! The webpart also provides a unique site page about the event, where you can get as creative as you want with the display of event information. Architecture

The Event Details webpart fetches information from a specific item in the Events list. The webpart determines which item to fetch based on the eventid parameter in the URL query. Once the correct item is retrieved, the metadata displayed in the banner is populated, including the location, date, organizer, and banner image.

To display the unique site page for the event, the webpart embeds an Iframe that links to the correct site page. This allows for maximum flexibility and creativity in how the event information is displayed, as users can add as many webparts as they want and enable or disable comments as needed using SharePoint features.
